Will & Bear was born in 2015 from the place they feel most inspired; on the road. Alex (Bear) was looking for a hat that wasn't intimidating, was practical, long-lasting, and felt natural in the Australian outdoors. Loz (Will) watched Alex struggle to find something that he felt comfortable trying on. When we couldn't find what we were looking for, we set out to create it.
They designed our first collection from the ground up for both men & women. They took a simple approach to their designs while paying respect to what came before them to create a timeless aesthetic. After the quick success of our first range, they realized they needed to do ‘good business’, and delivering positive social impact on causes they cared about was a way for them to do that. They partnered with our first impact partner, Trees for the Future, to plant ten trees for every hat sold. Through the power of the collective good, they aim to give customers a platform to multiply our contribution through the small actions they take.
From its humble beginnings, they are proud of what Will & Bear has become. A global community of like-minded people united by a common thread, a thirst for adventure, and a love of nature. They love nothing more than seeing our hats in the wild.
Products can be divided into 4 parts, women’s part, men’s part, kids’, and collections. For women’s part, there are gift cards, wool hats, straw hats, bucket hats, caps, beanies, and accessories.
· Wool hat: a broad-brimmed hat of coarse wool felt. These hats are very warm but are not heavy at all. Wool is a great natural insulator and can have a little bit of a water-repellent punch, and these hats look great and feel great.
